Pediatric Gastroenterologist (casual position)
Duluth MN
Essentia Health Duluth Childrens Hospital a member of Essential Health is the regions largest provider of pediatric care. With 12 outpatient Pediatricians 2 NPs and many pediatric subspecialists on staff including Hospital Medicine PICU Hematology/Oncology Neonatology PM&R Cardiology Pulmonology Endocrinology Gastroenterology Neurology Dermatology Ophthalmology and Orthopedics we are able to care for the areas most critically ill infants and children. Essentia Health-St. Marys Medical Center is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
We are seeking a 1.0 FTE and one casual Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Duluth MN to join our growing team.
The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will:
- Partner with our current full-time Pediatric GI physician and support staff to grow services
- Perform a full spectrum of Endoscopy procedures in Essentias state-of-the-art Digestive Health Center
- Rotate call with partner
- Partner on all GI hospital admissions with acute care Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists who service as primary
- Be supported by child-life specialists and other services uniquely designed for children and adolescents
- Join a robust pediatric subspecialty team as we continue to expand and grow services throughout our region
- Treat patients/families coming from an area that includes North Dakota Minnesota Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.

LOCATION
- Duluth MN located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior
- 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul

COMPENSATION
$187.00 an hour. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses quality incentives or production-based compensation.
