Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingX-ray Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job inAtlanta GA.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including general X-rays and fluoroscopy in various settings: OR ED inpatient and portable exams
Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure completeness before sending to PACS
Work effectively with EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS systems
Utilize imaging equipment from vendors including Client Philips and CareStream
Float between different radiology departments as needed to support staffing needs
Assist with student training by performing competency check-offs and providing feedback
Follow all infection control and safety guidelines; mask fit testing is required
Maintain compliance with regulatory and institutional policies
Provide compassionate age-appropriate care including willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging techniques
Qualifications:
Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 trauma center OR
23 years of experience in a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility
Experience using EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS strongly preferred
Familiarity with equipment from Client Philips and CareStream
Strong understanding of radiologic procedures in high-acuity settings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to float across units and assist in training students
Mask fit testing required prior to start
