Manufacturing Production Supervisor
Location:Bellevue WA 98005
Pay Rate:$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule: 4-day workweek 10-hour shifts
- Wed - Fri: 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM
- Sat: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Assignment Type: Contract with potential for extension
Conversion: Possible full-time hire based on performance
About the Role
Were seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in large-scale food manufacturing. In this role you will oversee a team of 20-30 production associates in a high-volume fast-paced environment ensuring that production safety and quality standards are consistently met.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in leading people solving problems and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic food production setting.
What Youll Do
- Supervise daily production operations to meet established goals for output quality and efficiency.
- Lead coach and develop a team of 20-30 production employees fostering a safe and collaborative culture.
- Partner with Shipping and Receiving teams to support smooth material and product flow (20% of role).
- Troubleshoot operational challenges while promoting lean manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and monitor short- and long-term production plans aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies union agreements and federal/state regulations (OSHA EPA FDA USDA HACCP etc.).
- Drive training performance improvement and employee engagement across your team.
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree is preferred; relevant work experience will be considered.
- Large-Scale Food Manufacturing experience - REQUIRED
- 2 years leadership experience in a production environment leading teams of 20-30 employees.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (1 year).
- Union experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint plus ability to learn new systems.
- Strong organizational communication and leadership skills with a commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work required hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
