We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Manager to lead our international Clients Research & Development team in this role you will oversee the full product development cyclefrom concept and formulation to market launchwhile driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
R&D MANAGER
Location: Sofia Bulgaria
Industry: FMCG / Food Manufacturing
THE JOB
- Lead the R&D team and manage product development projects from concept to market launch.
- Developing innovative recepis for confectionery productsin line with customer needs and market trends.
- Improve existing formulations processes and product performance.
- Ensure all developments comply with food safety quality and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with QA Production and Marketing departments.
- Monitor industry trends raw materials and technologies to support ongoing innovation.
THE PERSON
- A dynamic professional with both technical expertise & leadership skills.
- University degree in Food Technology Chemistry Biochemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development / R&D in the food or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and formulation processes.
- Excellent computer skills MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Native Bulgarian and excellent written & spoken English.
- Strong communication teamwork and people management skills
