Job Description:
This person will contribute to the companys success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies or end products.
Essential Functions:
- Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies or end products in a repetitive nature
- Follows an engineered assembly process but may require the ability to adjust fit or align parts
- Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers screw drivers soldering irons and wrenches
- Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
- Uses Microsoft Office programs
- Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
- Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced flexible production environment
- Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
- Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).
- Able to transport up to 25 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong mechanical background
- L3Harris product knowledge
- Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material
- J-STD-001
- Strong Customer Focus
In compliance with pay transparency requirements thesalary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $40500 - $75000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
