Job Description

Keville Enterprises Inc. an established Construction Management and Inspection firm is seeking qualified candidates with a minimum of 15 years of relevant construction and engineering experience to fill a Project Engineer position to work in Jacksonville FL. Water and wastewater treatment plant experience is highly preferred.

PROJECT ENGINEER

The Project Engineer will support various Project Managers. Work shall include coordination of submittal process; assist in review of submittals and documents; review of design submittals at various design stages; verification of Project specifications and related documents; monitoring of quality assurance; preparation of relevant materials; representation at periodic Project meetings; providing expert opinions on special cases.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Review all design submittals and deliverables.
  2. Provide scope development and change order support to the client.
  3. Perform document control through established software and databases.
  4. Write letters/memos meeting minutes and develop written reports as needed.
  5. Assist in the preparation of concurrence forms memos and any related documents.
  6. Generate reports to the client on the Projects status.
  7. Compile and maintain a computer based digital photo record of construction progress and activities.
  8. Ensure construction is performed in accordance with standards plans and specifications.

Education and Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management related degree plus experience in the Engineering/Construction Field with an emphasis in engineering and design development.
  2. At least 15 years of experience in engineering and construction projects; water and wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.
  3. Ability to read and comprehend electrical communication and civil/structural engineering plans technical specifications and other construction related documents such as work plans/procedures/shop drawings.
  4. Strong project coordination and organizational skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
  5. Strong ability to work within a paperless environment as all Project documentation is mostly maintained and stored in electronic media.

OTHER: Employees assigned to driving duties (drivers) must have a current valid US State drivers license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Kevilles driving policy. OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment. This employer participates in e-verify.
