As a Finance intern you will get exposure to many different areas within finance such as: Month end reporting Finance Budgeting AP invoicing Fixed asset accounting and Costing.
Role & responsibilities:
- Work with site on Budget and Forecast preparation and drive Cost Governance on site
- Liaise with the BSC on Vendor/Invoice Queries and drive resolutions
- Assist Finance Team with IDA grants and SOX Audits
- Preparation and inputting journals into financial systems. Assisting the financial accountant with Accruals & Prepayments
- Preparing month-end Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting Fixed Asset annual verification process
- Supporting month-end activities within finance department as required and directed by managers e.g. completion of government surveys
