Full time role day/night rotating weekends and holidays
1 year of RN experience preferred
White 9- medical acute care unit has 25 beds for patients and is located in on the MGH Main Campus. A majority of patients are admitted directly from the Emergency Department and have single or multi-system problems including but not exclusively alterations in gas exchange airway clearance cardiac function renal function nutrition hepatic function skin integrity and mental states.

Essential Functions
-Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
-Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
-Administer medications monitor patient conditions and assist in treatments and procedures.
-Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
-Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
-Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
-Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
