Job Description
PPS is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist skilled in set-ups and operation to produce precision parts for our customers in the semiconductor aerospace defense and other industries.
This is a full-time permanent position in a NEW air conditioned building with a highly competitive pay rate second-to-none benefits and room for advancement!
Responsibilities:
- Run and Edit CNC Programs
- Read and follow traveler instructions
- Operate lathes
- Perform All Set Ups
- Load and unload material and parts
- Measure and document inspection data
- Measure document maintain or improve on established production standards
- Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions symbols and notes
- Document counts
- Organize clean and maintain work area
- Complete discrepant tag information
- Communicate with Engineering on issues needs and improvements
- Perform All Set Ups
- Other functions as deemed appropriate
