Key responsibilities

Lead audits from planning to completion keeping the manager fully updated.

Act as first point of contact on site answering client queries clearly and promptly.

Build risk-based audit plans and set realistic budgets and timelines.

Review juniors work in the field give coaching and help them hit their goals.

Draft financial statements audit findings and letters of representation.
-
Discuss proposed journals with clients and clear review points quickly.
-
Spot control weaknesses and suggest practical improvements.
-
Keep technical knowledge current through webinars and learning time.
-
Help prepare for closing meetings and support sign-off.
Skills
-
Newly qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) with solid audit experience.

Clear communicator who explains technical points in plain English.
-
Organised calm under pressure and able to manage your own workload.
-
Positive leader who sets the tone for quality and professionalism.
-
Builds strong relationships while maintaining objectivity and independence.

Acts with integrity and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
