About the role:
We are seeking an Executive Events Lead to build out Anthropics executive events strategy and manage its execution. This is not traditional event managementthis role is heavily focused on executive engagement. You will design and execute high-impact engagements that advance our most critical business relationships and our mission of ensuring safe and beneficial AI development.
Youll own the full spectrum of executive event strategy: from creating Anthropic-hosted customer advisory boards and thought leadership summits to activating at premium third-party events. This role requires someone who can think like a strategist execute like a producer and engage like a trusted advisor to senior leadershipall while building scalable programs with lean teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with Marketing and company leadership to identify and orchestrate executive engagement opportunities through curated event experiences
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategy for executive events programs
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of Anthropic-hosted executive programs including customer advisory boards C-level summits and strategic partner events
- Evaluate and select third-party events (conferences sporting events cultural experiences) that align with Anthropics business goals and design activation strategies for maximum impact
- Manage high-touch hosted experiences and premium hospitality at events both domestically and internationally
- Set agendas and develop compelling content programming that resonates with C-level audiences while advancing business objectives
- Build scalable frameworks and processes for executive event programs from the ground up in a startup environment
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships and program budgets
- Measure and report on program effectiveness including executive satisfaction relationship advancement pipeline impact and ROI
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 15 years of experience in event marketing with an extensive focus in executive events or leading executive relationship management for high-touch strategic executive programs.
- Excel at working directly with C-suite executives and their offices in matrixed organizations understanding how to support and enable executive relationships
- Are a proven self-starter who can build and run sophisticated programs with small teams in fast-paced startup environments
- Have experience managing premium hospitality and event experiences (VIP sporting events exclusive cultural experiences high-end venues)
- Possess exceptional judgment in curating experiences appropriate for senior-level relationships and confidential strategic discussions
- Have deep experience creating content and agendas for executive audiences and can evaluate third-party event opportunities strategically
- Demonstrate strong business acumen with a track record of partnering with Sales teams to advance strategic accounts through events
- Possess strong strategic thinking combined with meticulous attention to premium experience details and can manage budgets delivering exceptional ROI
- Are passionate about AI development and its implications for society
Role-specific policy:For this role we expect all staff to be able to work from our San Francisco office at least 2 days a week though we encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time for relocation. This role will also require significant travel up to 40-50% of the time including international travel to support global executive events and activations.

The expectedbase compensation for this position is below. Our total compensation package for full-time employees includes equity benefits and may include incentive compensation.

$255000 - $320000 USD
Logistics
Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However some roles may require more time in our offices.
