We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee our companys accounting operations ensure compliance with GAAP and support accurate financial reporting. This role will manage the day-to-day accounting functions supervise the accounting team and coordinate month-end and year-end close processes.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee our companys accounting operations ensure compliance with GAAP and support accurate financial reporting. This role will manage the day-to-day accounting functions supervise the accounting team and coordinate month-end and year-end close processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Stay up to date with new accounting standards and regulatory changes and recommend necessary updates to policies and procedures.
Month-End & Year-End Close:
- Lead the monthly quarterly and annual close processes ensuring deadlines are met and variances are analyzed and explained.
- Collaborate with finance operations and executive teams to support strategic decision-making with financial insights.
General Ledger Management:
- Oversee general ledger activities account reconciliations journal entries and accruals.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise mentor and develop a team of accountants and finance professionals.
Audit & Tax:
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors supporting audits and tax filings.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits including preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit inquiries.
Systems & Process Improvement:
- Implement best practices streamline accounting processes and assist with potential system implementations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience including 1 year minimum in a supervisory or managerial role required
- 1-2 years of public accounting as well as 1-2 years of industry experience ideal
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting practices beneficial
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Exposure to M&A integration or system implementations preferred
