The Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in delivering a new Defence project ensuring effective coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders. Day-to-day youll be managing complex workstreams engaging with stakeholders across Defence and industry and providing clear project reporting and updates.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of a new project from induction through delivery
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Defence processes and standards
- Supporting project initiation and proposal activities
- Providing accurate reporting to senior leadership
Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager:
- Knowledge of Defence and Defence project delivery
- Understanding of Trials and Experimentation processes
- Capability and Acquisition experience within DE&S or Army HQ
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working across multiple teams
- Ability to hit the ground running on complex projects
Essential qualifications for the Senior Project Manager:
- Relevant experience more important than formal qualifications
- Experience in project management in Defence or related sectors
- Demonstrable ability to manage complex workstreams and reporting
- APMP PMQ or Prince 2 equivalent

This role is full-time per week based at Farnborough or Bristol. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected. Hybrid working patterns are available.
