- Clinical Leadership:

- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee and coordinate clinical operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and nursing practices.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
- Staff Management:

- Supervise and support nursing staff fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development.
- Assist in recruitment orientation and ongoing training of nursing personnel.
- Patient Care:

- Monitor and assess the quality of patient care ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Education and Training:

- Provide educational opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Iowa license.
- Minimum 5 years of long term care nursing experience preferably with leadership or management experience.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and healthcare best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficient in computer skills including electronic health record systems.
- Will be required to rotate call every fourth weekend.
