Job Summary
Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab
Location:Hyannis MA
Job Type: Contract Travel
Shift: Day/Night
Hourly Pay: $72 $75
Weekly Pay: $2880 $3000

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process to provide quality patient care maintaining accurate and current patient records
Document and communicate assessments (physical psychological social and discharge planning)
Initiate and update patient care plans
Demonstrate proficiency in the charge nurse role and nursing informatics
Serve as a resource for patient care orientation and staff teaching
Participate in unit meetings mandatory training and professional development activities
Support quality monitoring safety and compliance with policies (including infection control and blood/body fluid safety)
Maintain confidentiality and represent the hospital positively within the community
Provide service excellence to patients families and colleagues
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Must pass CCHC Pharmacology Exam (before start date)
Must pass CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam (before start date)
2 years (within the last 5 years) of nursing experience in at least one of the following:
Critical Care (ICU CVICU)
Emergency Department
SDC/PACU
Acute Cardiac Unit/Stepdown (experience with post-cardiac procedures vasoactive meds etc.)
Proficiency in IV administration and telemetry monitoring
Completion of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) course
Ability to wear/use lead apron during procedures
On-call availability for off-shift weekends and holidays
Preferred:
Current cardiovascular interventional nursing experience (within past 5 years)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) or CRN (Certified Radiology Nurse) certification
