Genetic Counselor
Fargo ND
Essentia Health is currently looking for a Board- Certified Genetic Counselor to support an Oncology genetics addition an ideal candidate would be willing and able to provide counseling to a variety of other medical specialties.

This position provides opportunities to: work in a collaborative supportive and compassionate team environment use telehealth technologies and aid in the development of the genetic counselor program at Essentia Health.
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- This individual will join another genetic counselor at a busy community Cancer Center
- Our referral base comes from a tri-state area - patients may be seen both in person or virtually
- Clinic hours: 8am-5pm
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program
- Board certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling
- State Licensures to be obtained in North Dakota and Minnesota
- 1 year of previous experience preferred but will consider new graduates
ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interpret and discuss genetic test procedures results and genetic diseases in terms understandable by patients
- Promote and maintain compatible working relationships among other personnel in the department and organization
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately
