Short Description
Compensation: $25.05 Yearly ROA Bonus and Yearly Nucor Profit Share
Assist project team in the coordination of detailed projects including proper recordkeeping on-time delivery of materials and change order management. Cultivate a positive customer service environment.
Basic Job Functions:
Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrications safety programs and standards.
Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrications vision and values.
Assist the PM team with administrative duties to include writing change orders importing job releases sending documentation and updating drawing logs.
Coordinate with the customer and Sales team to manage retail/miscellaneous orders
Produce necessary documents and coordinate orders in Nucor Rebar Fabrications business system.
Assist supervisor in the review of projects job completions and forecasting; help resolve discrepancies.
Understand Nucor Rebar Fabrications standard contract management procedures Maintain contract file monitor lump sums for over-runs and final invoicing.
Place and manage invoicing for non-rebar product orders.
Track change-orders through business system. Develop a working knowledge of CRSI Manual of Standard Practice reinforced concrete construction and other industry practices.
Develop a working knowledge of detailing and fabrication practices.
Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
High school diploma GED or local/state equivalent
Preferences:
At least one year of experience in construction environment preferred
Two-year degree from accredited school or college preferably in Construction Management or Architectural Engineering
Basic knowledge of reinforcing bar detailing
Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or disputes
Previous administrative or project coordination experience
Possess critical thinking skills and have the ability to creatively problem-solve
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of standard business practices

- Lifting/handling computers and related equipment
- Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus
