Location: Atlanta GA 30329

Duration: 13 week contract

Shift: 3x12 Day shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay: $2088 - $2268; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit in Atlanta GA for a 13-week day shift contract. This role requires a strong background in pediatric oncology nursing and the ability to provide specialized care to children undergoing cancer treatment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric oncology and hematology patients
Administer chemotherapy and other medications as per APHON guidelines
Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physicians social workers and child life specialists
Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR system
Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred
Must have recent Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience
Current RN license in good standing
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- APHON Pediatric Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Certification
Flu Shot Required prior to start
Proficient in Epic EMR
