Job Summary
Surgical Technologists are responsible for assisting in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing scrub duties. Provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases. Assists in preparation transportation and supervision of patients. Maintains education in surgical operating room and related aspects of patient care.

Weekend Requirements : On call only
On Call Requirements : 5-6 calls required per month
Requirement description :
- 2 Years of Experience - Required
- Must have completed 2 travel assignments - Required
- Must have completed a successful assignment with your agency - Required
- BLS (AHA) - Required
- Must be proficient in Ortho - specifically total joints hip fx arthroscopy ORIFs and shoulder scopes and replacements
- Vascular proficiency - Required
- Neuro proficiency - Required
- Work history
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
- Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
