Since PAXLOVIDs emergency use authorization on 12/22/21 PAXLOVID has helped treat over 22M patients at high-risk from progression to severe COVID-19 which can lead to hospitalization and/or death. Now that PAXLOVID is FDA approved and commercialized in the U.S. this novel protease inhibitor is positioned to remain the gold standard in COVID-19 treatment. Significant opportunity to increase treatment rates for eligible patients and bolster PAXLOVIDs leadership position in the marketplace continues as new clinical data RWE and label indications are anticipated throughout 2025 and beyond.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
This secondment role is designed to accelerate Paxlovids GTN management by delivering high-impact analytics forecasting and pilot design. The analyst will collaborate across access marketing and analytics teams to uncover insights and drive improvements in patient affordability and program performance.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Build a GTN Model to Assess Affordability Opportunities
Develop a Gross-to-Net model to evaluate the financial impact of rebates (payer and retail) affordability programs and product abandonment
Use the model to simulate scenarios to inform GTN decisions as well as identify cost-effective opportunities.
Deliver a Comprehensive Affordability Analysis
Conduct a deep analytical dive into Paxlovids commercial affordability programs at national regional and local levels.
Identify key trends gaps and recommend opportunities for optimization.
Design Regional and Local Pilot Opportunities
Use data-driven insights to identify high-potential geographies for affordability program pilots.
Develop pilot proposals with clear KPIs implementation plans and success criteria.
Lead Monthly PAXCESS Forecasting
Build and maintain monthly forecasts for PAXCESS program utilization and costs.
Align forecasts with brand planning cycles including budget LE and operational planning.
Enhance the PAXCESS Dashboard
Partner with the PAXCESS team and analytics to ensure defining and tracking impactful metrics that reflect program performance and patient access are included and actively tracked
Ensure the dashboard reflects real-time performance and patient access trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
BA/BS with 8 years of experience.
Analytical Expertise: Ability to synthesize large datasets and extract actionable insights using tools like Excel Tableau or Power BI.
Forecasting & Modeling: Experience in building and refining forecasts preferably in healthcare or pharmaceutical access programs.
Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of market access dynamics affordability levers and patient support programs.
Dashboard Development: Familiarity with designing and optimizing dashboards for performance tracking and decision-making.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage timelines deliverables and cross-functional collaboration.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Initiative & Ownership: Self-starter who can independently drive projects forward and proactively identify opportunities.
Nice-to-Have
MBA/MS with 7 years of experience; OR PhD or JD5 with 5 years of experience
Familiarity with affordability programs.
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare reimbursement models and payer dynamics.
Prior involvement in pilot program design or implementation.
Exposure to brand planning processes including LE budget cycles and operational planning.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
