About the role

Ventia are seeking Electricians to provide asset maintenance across several Defence sites located in Albury Wodonga Military Area.

This role carries out planned re-active and preventative maintenance across Electrical assets for our Defence sites. The ideal candidates will bring strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence capability in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

About you

  • Hold a Trade Certificate Certificate in III Electrotechnology
  • Hold a Victorian (A Grade) Electrical licence
  • Hold a current Australian Drivers licence
  • Ability to conduct maintenance tasks including inspection classification repairs and planned works
  • Aptitude to fault finding on electrical assets and provide timely reactive maintenance
  • Previous experience in completing work orders and verifying tasks in accordance with requirements
  • Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check.
