Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our busy service this role you will diagnose repair and maintain Toyota vehicles ensuring high-quality service for our customers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with Toyota or ASE certifications a passion for automotive excellence and a commitment to efficiency in a high-volume dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics repairs and maintenance on Toyota vehicles including engine transmission electrical and hybrid systems to meet factory standards.
- Conduct routine services (e.g. oil changes tire rotations brake repairs) and complex repairs for our service customers.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and Toyota-specific software to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Complete multi-point inspections and recommend additional services to enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area adhering to dealership and OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and communicate repair needs to customers.
- Stay current with Toyota technical training and certifications to ensure expertise in new models and technologies.
- Document all repair work accurately in dealership systems for warranty and billing purposes.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician preferably in a Toyota or high-volume dealership environment.
- ASE certifications (preferred) or Toyota Technical Training certifications; willingness to pursue certifications if not already certified.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools scan tools and Toyota-specific systems (e.g. Techstream).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours including weekends.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Toyota hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of advanced automotive technologies (e.g. ADAS infotainment systems).
- Prior experience in a dealership environment.
