What you will do

Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for the testing and documenting the results of fire protection systems according to NFPA standards.

How you will do it

  • Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
  • Perform routine inspections testing servicing and preventative maintenance on water based systems and/or sprinkler systems.
  • Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
  • Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
  • Input retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
  • Complete assigned inspections on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for

Required

  • 5 years of experience with sprinkler systems
  • DPOR License
  • NICET III Certification
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints diagrams and specifications
  • Able to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 pounds
  • Must be able to work on lifts and ladders
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets company requirements
  • Must be available to participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
  • Ability to adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Preferred

  • State Backflow certified

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24.52 - $31.73 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledgeskills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
