The individual in this position acts as a staff consultant or subject matter expert providing consultative and program analysis services to individuals agencies and organizations or works in a specialty area of social services at the line level. Your first twelve months in the agency are probationary and considered a training period with formal virtual training on-the-job training with your supervisor and with other colleagues.
While this is a field-based position that involves working in the community part-time telework within the duty station is an option upon eligibility.The Office of Childrens Services Juneau Field Office is located in the heart of the Mendenhall Valley conveniently located near shops restaurants and the bus line. We serve the City of Juneau and outlying communities near Juneau to include Haines Skagway Angoon Hoonah Yakutat. Juneau is the hub community that also provides back up to our more rural offices in Southeast.
