Are you a strategic talent acquisition leader with a passion for technology recruitment and team development Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager Talent Acquisition Technology for a 12-month contract to lead a high-performing team supporting our dynamic Technology business.
In this role youll partner closely and report to the Director Talent Acquisition and senior business leaders to drive transformation across our recruitment practices. Youll lead the evolution of our hiring strategiesespecially in high-demand areas like Cloud and emerging techensuring we remain competitive in attracting top talent. Your leadership will empower a team of seasoned recruiters to deliver exceptional candidate experiences build strong stakeholder relationships and source passive talent through innovative channels.
Youll also bring a data-driven mindset using recruitment analytics and market intelligence to guide decision-making and proactively support business needs. With a focus on continuous improvement youll foster a culture of growth inclusion and high performancebuilding a team thats agile collaborative and future-ready.
Is this role right for you In this role you will:
- Lead and coaching a high-performing TA team focused on Technology recruitment
- Partner with senior leaders and HR to design and execute competitive hiring strategies
- Drive sourcing innovation across multiple channels
- Leverage data and insights to inform recruitment decisions and improve outcomes
- Establish and maintaining KPIs recruitment dashboards and forecasting tools to measure team performance and hiring outcomes.
- Develop programs to attract talent from non-traditional emerging and diverse talent pools.
- Enhance process efficiency and candidate experience across the hiring journey
- Build a culture of learning development and inclusion within the team
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role - Wed love to work with you if you have:
- Proven experience managing and developing high-performing recruitment teams
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Deep expertise in technology recruitment across both legacy and emerging platforms
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing strategies workforce planning and talent market trends
- Proven ability to lead through change identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong understanding of AI prompting and emerging technologies with the ability to leverage them to enhance recruitment strategies and efficiencies
- A collaborative growth-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation
