Key responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to support the sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.
Main stakeholders are all the customers in the German Region under certain circumstances outposts from our customers in the EU.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Offering technical advice and providing comments on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABBs products/systems/applications.
- Providing technical support during technical meetings product presentations and negotiations.
- Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Delivering product/solution/service-related training; and supporting the managers in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.
Qualifications for the role
- You are learned to work with the relevant tools for this position and the products
- We expect independent technical induction in application software and knowledge of standards relating to our relevant product portfolios.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in advanced skills and you have 2 years of experience in specified product range
- Degree required as electrical engineer and demonstrated track record in the market electrical Industry OEM Building technology
- You are at ease communicating in German (C2) and English (B1)
