About the Role:

As a Sales & Application Engineer you will be responsible for selling industrial pumps and spare parts under the JOHNSON PUMP brand. Your key responsibilities will include processing orders preparing quotations and documentation and supporting field representatives with service activities. Additionally you will manage domestic and international sales inquiries provide product and pricing information prepare sales orders and quotations and act as a key liaison between the company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer inquiries and requests gathering all necessary information to provide timely and accurate quotations and delivery details.
• Process sales orders with complete and accurate data to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Utilize CRM tools to create quotations and follow up with customers and prospects maintaining up-to-date customer records.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Commercial Engineering to align on custom orders costs lead times and technical specifications.
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to sales orders.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers addressing their needs and resolving any discrepancies.
• Provide technical and sales information about SPX products to enhance customer knowledge and support business growth.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures including terms and conditions and payment terms to ensure efficient operations.

About You

• Proficient in MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with sales order processes; experience with SAP is a strong advantage.
• Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Education and experience equivalent to at least two years of college focused on Marketing Business or Engineering or a minimum of three years in related sales or export/import roles.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial products are highly desirable.
