As part of our evolving strategy were looking for a Tendering Engineer to join our front-end operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across a variety of projects from fast-turnaround quotes to complex multi-disciplinary tenders and thrives in a technically driven commercially focused environment.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and timely quotations for a wide range of pump solutions.
• Prepare detailed tenders for complex projects ensuring alignment with customer specifications and Sulzers commercial strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering hydraulics costing and sales teams to develop competitive and technically sound proposals.
• Apply pricing strategies and commercial terms that balance competitiveness with profitability.
• Support contract reviews and negotiations ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
• Assist in the smooth handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the tendering function.

What You Bring

• Experience in the pump industry or a closely related engineering field.
• Proven ability to manage both high-volume quoting and complex high-value tenders.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen with a deep understanding of pricing strategies contract terms and margin protection.
• Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to act independently manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
