Job Summary
Responsibilities
Come make an impact as a Safety Manager near Grand Haven MI! Help support specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented safety compliance requirements are met and enhance a culture of safety.
- Oversee all aspects of the commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
- Oversee high hazard/risk activities
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Conduct daily safety meetings audits and inspections
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Write job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP)
Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of direct construction safety experience required
- Active BCSP certification required (CHST and or CSP highly preferred)
- OSHA 510 required
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
