About the Role

TWE seeks a Luxury Sales Manager for 4 of our key western mountain Luxury Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and delivering the TWEs annual Luxury goals in their designated markets by collaborating with internal TWE team and driving sales through the TWE distributor partners and directly with key accounts. Performance objectives are to attain or exceed current and long-term Sales and Distribution goals in accordance with TWE sales plans programs and Key Performance Indicators are sales volume sales value new distribution and achievement of annual operating plan.

This is a remote position which can be based in MT ID UT or WY. Preference will be given to candidates in Bozeman MT.

You will be responsible for:

  • Achieving sales objectives and driving success by working directly with and building strong working relationships with a designated list of key accounts and corresponding distributor sales teams
  • Dedicating 80% of time to selling and related market activities; 20% to administrative duties from a remote office
  • Growing Treasury Wine Estates Luxury portfolio depletion volume features and distribution within target accounts across the territory in alignment with fiscal goals
  • Supporting and advising on distributor performance against TWE Luxury market goals
  • Collaborating internally on distributor pricing and program strategies to meet market objectives
  • Developing channel and account-specific market plans and allocating resources accordingly
  • Educating distributor sales teams on the TWE Luxury Portfolio and brand standards
  • Leading wine dinners brand activations and staff education in both on- and off-premise channels
  • Partnering with the TWE Luxury events team on regional activations and sponsorships
  • Providing market insights for quarterly business reviews
  • Maintaining fiscal discipline and operating within approved annual market budgets
  • Monitoring competitor activity and sharing strategic intelligence with supervisors and distributor partners
  • Understanding and influencing key performance metrics including:
  • Managing for value
  • Active Points of Distribution
  • Price management and models
  • Channel/account strategy
  • Participating in sales blitzes or crew drives in other markets as needed

About You

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience
  • You have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • You have Wine/alcohol beverage experience; sommelier or WSET Level 3 preferred
  • You have a strong understanding of luxury sales and consumer behavior
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have persuasive presentation skills including comfort speaking to large audiences
  • You have professional presence with style elegance and confidence
  • You have strong negotiation and influence skills with ability to motivate under tight timelines
  • You have proven success in building and maintaining key trade relationships
  • You are able to manage tasks independently and exercise sound judgment
  • You have an analytical mindset with ability to develop strategies and promotions based on competitive data
  • You are highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • You have a passion for wine and willingness to continuously learn and represent new brands
  • You are technologically proficient in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing tools
  • You have high integrity and strong work ethic
  • You are willing to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • You have a valid drivers license
  • You are able to lift a case of wine (45 lbs) up to 10 times per day

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $99000 to $110000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors including but not limited to candidate qualifications skills experience education location and alignment with market data.
