We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Manager (AWS & AWS Data Lake) to manage and optimize our AWS-based cloud infrastructure with a focus on data services analytics and integration with Azure environments. This role will ensure the stability security and cost efficiency of AWS workloads while managing the infrastructure MSP to deliver operational excellence. The position will also collaborate closely with the business to align platform capabilities with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Management

• Manage AWS workloads including compute storage networking and data services.
• Oversee AWS Data Lake architecture ensuring data governance quality and accessibility.
• Integrate AWS services with Azure workloads and enterprise systems.
• Optimize platform performance and costs through monitoring and automation.

MSP Oversight & Stabilization

• Serve as the primary point of contact for MSP-delivered AWS services.
• Monitor MSP adherence to SLAs and governance standards.
• Drive stabilization projects to improve uptime reduce incidents and enhance service delivery.

Best Practices & Governance

• Establish AWS governance policies for security tagging cost management and access control.
• Standardize provisioning monitoring and backup strategies.
• Maintain compliance with data privacy and industry regulations.

Business Collaboration

• Work with business teams to understand data and analytics requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable secure AWS solutions.
• Provide performance security and cost reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 6 years managing AWS environments (IaaS PaaS SaaS).
• Strong experience with AWS Data Lake analytics services and data integration.
• Proven ability to manage MSP relationships and drive service improvements.
• Excellent communication vendor management and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Azure and hybrid cloud integrations is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
• AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty
• ITIL Foundation
  
  

The range of starting base pay for this role is 124K-170K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience qualifications education and addition to base pay this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
