**Schedule/Availability Requirements:**We need coverage for the year 2026. The working hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM. After 4 PM you will have on-call duty until 8 AM the next morning and you will be on call for 24 hours on weekends.
**Required Procedures:
**Here is a list of procedures our Interventional Radiology (IR) team performs:

**Diagnostic vascular intervention:** - Angiography (looking at veins and arteries)

**Therapeutic vascular intervention:** - Angioplasty (opening up veins and arteries) - Stenting (placing a small tube in veins and arteries) - Thrombolytic therapy (breaking up blood clots) - Embolization therapy (blocking blood flow)

**Interventional procedures (body not brain):**
- Vascular access devices/PICCs (for medication delivery)
- Central lines (for medicine or fluids) - Port-a-cath insertions (for chemotherapy)
- IVC filters (to prevent blood clots)
- TIPS (a procedure for liver issues)
- Aspiration/drainage procedures (removing fluid)
- Percutaneous needle biopsies (taking tissue samples)
- Extractions (removing stones from biliary and renal systems)
- Abscess drainage (removing pus)
- Thoracentesis (removing fluid from around the lungs)
- Paracentesis (removing fluid from the abdomen)
- Myelography (looking at the spinal cord)
- Pain management procedures
- Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram (looking at bile ducts)
- Blood patch (to fix a leak)
- Joint/epidural injections (for pain relief)
- Vertebroplasty (fixing broken bones in the spine)
- Arthrograms (looking at joints)
- Chest tube insertion (to help with lung issues)
- Uterine artery embolization (for womens health issues)
- Liver treatments like Y90/TACE
- Gastrostomy tube insertion (for feeding)
- Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion (for kidney issues)
- Renal fistulograms (looking at kidney blood vessels)
- Cryoablation (freezing tissue to treat problems)
**Preferred Skills (but not required):
**Experience with stroke procedures especially thrombectomy (removing clots from the brain).
**EMR System:** We use Epic for electronic medical records.
**Deal Breakers:**The provider must have general experience in Interventional Radiology. Stroke capability is important but must be able to perform all the listed procedures first.
**Qualifications:**- **Board Certification:**
Must be board certified.-
**State License:** Preferred ND (North Dakota) license but IMLC is accepted.-
**Residency/Fellowship:** Required to have completed.-
**Other Certifications:** Must have ACLS and BLS.-
**Malpractice History:
** A clean record is preferred.-
**Availability:** Must be available when the name is cleared.-
**Experience:** Must have experience in all required procedures.
