Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Ob/ this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients ensuring continuity of care and high-quality patient outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects collaborating with different healthcare facilities and making a positive impact on the communitys health.
As a Locum MD or DO in Ob/Gyn your role is vital in filling temporary staffing needs maintaining patient care standards and supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages or leaves of absence. You will be involved in a wide range of obstetrics and gynecology projects from prenatal care and deliveries to gynecological surgeries and womens health consultations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in various healthcare settings.
- Perform deliveries C-sections and other obstetrical procedures as needed.
- Conduct gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies laparoscopies and colposcopies.
- Diagnose and treat obstetric and gynecologic conditions following evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Educate patients on reproductive health family planning and preventive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics gynecology and womens health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and schedules.
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts specific dates
