Job Summary
Position Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Location: Cobleskill NY
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Night (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13-week assignment
Weekly Pay: $1800 $2232
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Emergency Departmentfor an exciting Travel or Local job inCobleskill NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess triage and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department
Administer medications IVs and other prescribed treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
Respond rapidly to emergency situations (e.g. cardiac arrest trauma)
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly
Document all care accurately and in a timely manner
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
Maintain infection control and safety standards
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license (state-specific as required)
Minimum 12 years of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment
Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations is a plus
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
