A successful Solutions Engineer works collaboratively as part of a sales team to design solutions that uniquely address customers requirements. Building relationships to help customers accomplish their business outcomes the ATS is a key component of what makes NetApp special.
The ideal candidate for this position will have approximately 8 years of related experience in technical sales engineering or solutions engineering (or similar) role.
*Position is based in the Boston MAmarket. Please note applicants must be located in this market to qualify for consideration.
Job Requirements
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in areas listed below:
Successfully capture technical and business requirements to create winning proposals in conjunction with your sales services and support team.
Lead product discussions demonstrations and proof of concepts with our customers to help them experience the simplicity and value of NetApp solutions.
Effectively leverage shared technical personnel to drive successful implementation of NetApp solutions deeper relationships and better understanding of NetApps products and services.
Actively develop and maintain expertise on complementary and competitive technologies.
Understand financial and operational requirements to create ROI models that meet the customers needs.
Self-directed and proactive in navigating sales campaigns cultivating customer relationships and responding to customer needs.
Ability to travel within the area/market mentioned in this posting on a regular basis (local commuting from residence).
Education
Bachelors degree or additional equivalent work experience.
The OTE (On Target Earnings) Range for this position is $193885 - 250910 USDand will be determined by the candidates location qualifications experience and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards reflecting a variety of factors and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance Life Insurance Retirement or Pension Plans Paid Time Off (PTO) various Leave options Performance-Based Incentives employee stock purchase plan and/or restricted stocks (RSUs) with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws regulations and company policies.
