Position Summary:

Ipswich Public Schools is seeking an energetic creative and caring individual to join our Teen Drop-In Program team. This part-time position is focused on supporting middle school students in a welcoming and engaging environment outside of regular school hours.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with teens can build positive relationships and is passionate about creating a space that feels safe fun and inclusive for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with middle school students during drop-in hours
Foster a positive respectful and safe environment
Plan or lead informal activities such as games crafts discussions or creative projects
Serve as a positive role model and build supportive relationships with students
Collaborate with school staff and program leadership to ensure program success
Maintain a safe and organized space

Schedule & Compensation:

15 hours per week with a consistent afternoon schedule (exact hours to be determined)
$24.00 per hour
School-year position (SeptemberJune)

Qualifications:

Experience working with middle school students preferred
Friendly approachable and dependable
Ability to manage a group with patience and a positive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be 18 years or older
