Lakeland Catholic School Division

Lakeland Catholic School Division is seeking reliable Casual Custodians to provide on-call temporary coverage to support our schools in the Bonnyville area. These casual on-call positions are essential in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for students staff and visitors when regular custodial staff are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping mopping dusting vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces

• Empty garbage bins and replace liners

• Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies as needed

• Wash windows mirrors and other glass surfaces

• Maintain cleanliness in hallways entrances and shared spaces

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow guidelines for chemical use

• Report any required repairs or maintenance

• Follow safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic facility maintenance skills (e.g. changing light bulbs minor plumbing tasks)

• Experience with or knowledge of commercial cleaning practices

• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting bending and extended periods of standing or walking
