Senior Product Owner FTC 6 months

Are you a visionary dynamic data-driven Senior Product Owner ready to develop our portfolio

of Global Player features If so this role is for you.

Global Player allows listeners to enjoy all of Globals radio brands award-winning podcasts and

expertly curated playlists in one place in app on web on TV in car and on smart speakers.

As a Senior Product Owner at Global you will work with your own cross-functional squad to

deliver new features and functionality to support the business in achieving its ambitious goals as

well as acting as a coach to other members of the team developing junior talent.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy (40%): Develop a product strategy for your product area own significant parts

of the product roadmap and communicate priorities establish success metrics and

facilitate meetings and workshops with individuals or groups across the business.

Delivery (30%): Analyse high-level business requirements in the roadmap assess

implementation options communicate the vision clearly to the business and own the

product backlog and prioritisation while meeting the business needs and aligning with

other squads.

Day-to-day (30%): Work closely with the development and design teams ensure all

releases are thoroughly tested and delivered to the highest quality be the voice of the

user by sharing customer feedback and educate the team on and drive adoption of

industry best practices.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few weeks youll have:

Fully understood the goals of the Global Player team and how these support Globals

strategy and objectives.

Gained a detailed understanding of the workings of Globals business across our Radio

Commercial and Digital divisions.

Established strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Taken ownership of and aligned your teams OKRs ensuring delivery against them

Established a roadmap for the upcoming quarters.

Released features across iOS Android and web products.

What Youll Need

Experience working in a SCRUM / Agile environment.

Experience with Product & Technology Roadmap development through the influence of

key business and technology stakeholders to identify business priorities.

Ability to innovate and think independently.

Comfortable working at pace and managing competing and changing priorities.

High level of emotional intelligence; ability to understand different priorities and

perspectives.

Willingness to collaborate and coach; ability to educate and influence.

Minimum 5 years experience as a Product Owner.
