What You Will Be Doing:
Do you love numbers and want to make a real impact Join the Department of Health as a Senior-LevelAccountant and take the lead on tracking capital expenditures managing facility budgets and preparing key financial reports for the Legislature. Youll work closely with the Facility Manager dive into complex accounting in IRIS and help shape the future of our public health infrastructure. Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or progressively responsible professional level experience in accounting budgeting or financial management.

Training and education in this guidance are synonyms for the process of acquiring knowledge and skills through instruction. Additional Required Information

The State of Alaska uses four proficiency levels to measure and describe an applicants level of competence in applying certain behaviors knowledge skills and abilities to accomplish a specific task. The four proficiency levels are Mastery Fluency Literacy and Discovery. You must rate your proficiency level for each competency listed in the supplemental questions.
