Job Summary
Overview
We are looking for a friendly reliable and detail-oriented Cashier / Switchboard Operator to join our dealership team. This role is often the first point of contact for our customers so professionalism and excellent communication skills are a must. Youll handle cashiering duties answer and direct phone calls and provide general support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner in person and over the phone.
- Operate the dealerships main switchboard answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Process payments for service parts and other dealership transactions accurately (cash check credit/debit).
- Balance and reconcile daily cash drawer.
- Maintain a neat and organized cashier area and reception desk.
- Provide basic information to customers regarding dealership services and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a cashier receptionist or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with basic computer skills
- Reliable punctual and detail-oriented.
Working Conditions

- Standard business hours; some evenings or Saturdays may be required.
