The Role:

Working closely with our customers account teams and product management groups you will develop align and execute market messaging product marketing and customer initiatives supporting our product lines and our customerswith winning value propositions enabling LZA growth targets. Key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate leadership and to influence the development of marketing strategy both with internal stakeholders and external role supports all end-use businesses across Lubrizol Additives and customers within APAC.

The position is based Shanghai China resides in the Lubrizol Additives Global Marketing team and reports to the Regional Manager Marketing APAC

Responsibilities

  • Develop align and execute on marketing plans. Execute marketing projects within an agreed timeframe.
  • Apply marketing tools techniques to advise and help customers identify ways to improve their marketing mix to achieve their business targets.
  • Develop concepts that convert highly technical and scientific features of our products into understandable and meaningful benefits.
  • Develop and manage communication campaigns that include content development and promotion across multiple channels (e.g. advertising public relations digital and social marketing) ensuring consistent messages across all mediums.
  • Ensure alignment with Account OEM and Product Management teams on marketing strategy and tactics to successfully implement the business plan in pursuit of growth targets.
  • Build effective relationships with other internal divisions and external groups especially customers.
  • Identify and develop regional market knowledge that can be used as insights in sales enablement and customer impact presentations.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with colleagues (locally and globally) and stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • 5 years of commercial and digital marketing experience including supporting new product launches managing integrated marketing communications plans and running digital marketing campaigns using digital marketing tools.
  • Experience with developing and implementing marketing plans and strategy on time and within budget.
  • Lubricant industry experience and / or OEM knowledge is advantageous
  • Proven experience working face to face with customers and building outstanding customer relationships.
  • Demonstrable experience in building awareness and generating leads in new and emerging markets using the full portfolio of classic and digital marketing strategies.
  • Impact orientation focused on delivering quantifiable results.
  • An ability to develop and influence new marketing concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical and business issues and articulate them simply.
  • Exceptional cross functional leadership interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Creative flair and an attention to detail.
  • Able to travel (regionally and potentially globally) up to 20%.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree Marketing Business or a technical discipline with a marketing focus or relevant equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
