Job Summary

ENGIE S&EM is the ENGIE Groups business unit specialized in energy supply solutions and risk management supporting clients in their energy transition. With more than 3600 employees across 20 countries the unit manages energy assets in gas electricity renewables and environmental products.

Position Mission
Lead the commercial strategy of the energy supply business in Iberia (with a primary focus on Spain) driving revenue growth new customer acquisition and the structuring of tailored electricity and gas solutions.

Main Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy

  • Design and implement the sales strategy with a focus on green energy.

  • Define budgets and set targets for the sales team.

Team Management

  • Lead motivate and develop the commercial team to achieve sales goals.

Client Relations

  • Negotiate energy supply contracts and maintain strong relationships with large consumers and key stakeholders.

Business Development

  • Identify new opportunities in the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

  • Manage the pipeline of potential clients.

Market and Pricing Analysis

  • Monitor market trends and collaborate with trading and risk management teams to define competitive products.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to regulations and coordinate with legal teams in response to regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics Business Engineering or a related field.

  • 710 years of experience in the energy sector (especially in electricity and gas supply).

  • Deep knowledge of the energy market and its regulations.

  • Proven experience in leading teams and achieving commercial objectives.

  • High level of Spanish and at least B2 level of English.
