Job Description
Job Title: RN Ambulatory (Community Cancer Center)
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (schedule as per department)
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate:
Travel Rate: $2651.50/week
Local Rate: $2437.50/week
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Ambulatoryfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Qualifications:
Current RN registration in New York State
BLS certification (able to recertify)
Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care nursing experience in a comparable hospital setting (within the past 2 years)
Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital highly desired
Travelers considered only if experienced in hospitals equal to or larger than the current facilitys size or trauma level
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties:
Provide comprehensive patient care in the ambulatory cancer care setting
Conduct accurate nursing assessments with minimal supervision
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient treatment plans
Maintain thorough and timely documentation
Provide patient education as appropriate
