Department

The Group Development/M&A department manages all M&A projects for the Deutsche Telekom Group such as the purchase and sale of companies and parts of companies as well as the formation of joint such M&A transactions Group Development/M&A coordinates all project phases - in close coordination with the divisions and specialist departments - from the assessment of possible transactions to the execution of the transaction including strategic analysis company valuation due diligence structuring of the transaction negotiation of the transaction documentation to the conclusion of the contracts and completion of the transaction.

Tasks

As a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager (m/f/d) you will prepare M&A projects in the area of responsibility including assessments of companies as well as the procurement preparation and analysis of data.

  • You will prepare company valuations and investment proposals and carry out M&A transaction processes including project management
  • You will lead individual workstreams as well as overarching workstreams Coordination of the entire M&A project
  • You will be responsible for monitoring competitors including the further development of the methodology the collection of relevant data and coordination with internal customers
  • You will provide technical guidance to M&A employees and will be responsible for preparing and preparing decision-making documents for
  • top management

Profile

You have a degree in economics or a comparable vocational training with a corresponding field of study or subject-specific additional training or several years of professional experience in the field of M&A.

Furthermore you are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional special knowledge and skills:

  • Very good knowledge in the areas of financial modeling valuation accounting and analysis of business models
  • Several years of experience in leading project teams
  • Good experience with a holistic view
  • Very good experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
  • Outstanding experience in managing strategically oriented projects
