AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised M&E Mechanical Fitter to work with their client at Imperial Park Substation in Newport.

You will be taking part inElectrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear transformers and associated equipment. Installation of control and protection equipment Installation of earthing systems Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar disconnectors and switchgear Maintenance of high voltage equipment Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment Receiving high voltage documents.

You must have experience working as a Fitter in a Substation environment have your National Grid persons ticket and all other relevant competencies to apply for the role.

Start: 6th October 2025
Duration: 6 months
Rate: 300 Per Day
