Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and approve incoming materials in-process production and finished goods against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using height gages calipers micrometers optical comparators and other precision measurement tools.
• Document inspection results through reports logs and database entries including rework and scrap tracking.
• Support production teams by communicating nonconformances and required adjustments.
• Maintain and verify proper operation of inspection equipment coordinating calibration or repair when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards safety practices and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality systems and reduce rework.

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing role (preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of metrology and mechanical measurement equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with CMM inspection highly desirable.
• Familiarity with quality documentation reporting and data entry.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
