We are looking for a Junior Architectural Designer to join our Retail Development team in our Stockholm Head Office. The Retail Development department manages all store development projects through all phases including design development store planning and management of the construction process. The Junior Architect will report to the Head of Architecture and Projects to create develop and execute the Acne Studios store and shop in shop environments in multiple locations regions and markets globally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Junior Architect you will work with the Head of Architecture and Projects and the Retail Development team to develop architectural studies in keeping with Acne Studios standards. You will report to Head of Architecture and Projects and will play a vital role in delivering our new stores globally by:
- Support the development of schematic designs and design intent documentation for new store openings and renovations worldwide handing off finalized concepts to Project Managers for execution
- Produce detailed architectural and construction documentation aligned with Acne Studios design standards and brand ethos
- Collaborate effectively with external design and development partners ensuring timely follow-through on project requirements and deliverables
- Work closely with internal and external design teams to continuously refine our design toolkit and fixture systems balancing aesthetics with functionality

Specific personal qualities for this role:
- This is a highly collaborative role that requires a strong team player as well as the ability to work flexibly under high pressure
- You are highly organized and have an excellent eye for detail
- Comfortable working with suppliers contractors and other internal teams
- This position is based in Stockholm but will require occasional travelling to coordinate construction issues and review completed shops around the world
Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
- Masters degree in Architecture with a minimum of 2 years experience in store design planning and construction - ideally within an architecture firm or an in-house retail design team
- Proven ability to develop architectural details and construction documentation with a strong creative eye and attention to detail to translate design concepts into built environments
- Proficient in industry-standard software: Revit AutoCAD Photoshop Illustrator and visualization tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and across teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
