Note:This position requires employees to be on-site four days per week at our clients Rockville (Shady Grove) MD office with one day of remote flexibility subject to hearing schedules.

Note:The qualified candidate for this position must have an active Maryland law license and 2 years of experience handling workers compensation cases.

Job Description

Handle workers compensation cases from intake through resolution
Represent clients before the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission
Conduct hearings depositions mediations and settlement negotiations
Draft and review pleadings motions and settlement agreements
Provide legal counsel and develop tailored case strategies
Maintain strong client communication and deliver effective advocacy
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure excellent case management

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland (required)
2 years of experience in Maryland workers compensation law including hearings before the Commission
Strong oral advocacy negotiation and legal writing skills
Ability to manage a busy caseload and stay organized
Commitment to client service and professional integrity
