Note:This position requires employees to be on-site four days per week at our clients Rockville (Shady Grove) MD office with one day of remote flexibility subject to hearing schedules.
Note:The qualified candidate for this position must have an active Maryland law license and 2 years of experience handling workers compensation cases.

Job Description
- Handle workers compensation cases from intake through resolution
- Represent clients before the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission
- Conduct hearings depositions mediations and settlement negotiations
- Draft and review pleadings motions and settlement agreements
- Provide legal counsel and develop tailored case strategies
- Maintain strong client communication and deliver effective advocacy
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure excellent case management
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland (required)
- 2 years of experience in Maryland workers compensation law including hearings before the Commission
- Strong oral advocacy negotiation and legal writing skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and stay organized
- Commitment to client service and professional integrity
