More about us: Machinist I is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties include setup operation and adjustment of CNC and manual machine tools.
In this role a typical day will look like:
- Responsible for producing quality products per the build schedule.
- Gather materials and set-up CNC or manual equipment.
- Maintain quality of products produced according to department standards and visual or dimensional specifications.
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
- Meet productivity standards.
- Record and maintain quality or traceability information.
- Record and maintain Cell Boards and other visual management tools
- Maintain equipment according to work instructions or preventive maintenance tasks.
- Report complicated equipment malfunctions to mechanics.
- Participate in team meetings which include planning daily work and resource utilization problem solving project work etc.
- Maintain visual management of part and raw material storage; clean and organized work area.
- Assist in problem solving of new equipment and products.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a moderate amount of supervision
- Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
- Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $20.90 - $22.69 USD per job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
