Job Description
CLIN AST PROF
MD/DO or equivalent and fellowship trained in medical retina.
The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks to add a full-time medical retina specialist at the non-tenure level of Clinical Assistant Professor. Major responsibilities include providing excellence in patient care supervision and teaching of trainees in clinics and some clinical research. Clinical duties will exclude surgical management and hospital responsibilities.
The Department consists of a small but growing group of talented ophthalmologists and optometrists who offera wide array of eye care services to the Jacksonville community. Our specialties include cornea and external diseaserefractive surgery glaucoma anterior segment surgery diseases of the retina uveitis ocular tumors oculoplasticand orbital surgery neuro-ophthalmology contact lenses low vision and electrophysiology. We are a multi-specialtyacademic practice with a robust clinical volume.
